Mr. Dennis Wilson is a sustainability manager with over 30 years of experience in the field of environmental and health and safety management as well as community management. He has worked as Vice President Health, Safety, and Environment at Equinox Gold Corp. and Director Environment and Social Responsibility at New Gold Inc. overseeing the sustainability aspects of operations and projects in Canada, United States of America, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil.
Mr. Wilson brings a breadth of experience in the ESG area, having worked in every aspect of sustainability from early projects through to mine closure. He has also managed relationships with First Nations in several parts of Canada, and relationships with remote communities in Australia, Brazil, and Mexico.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science (Environmental Science) from Charles Sturt University (NSW, Australia).
